The Tree Council of Ireland supported by Tetra Pak, is delighted to launch Tetra Pak Tree Day themed ‘Tell me How to Make a Difference’, which will take place on Thursday 6th October.

On Tetra Pak Tree Day primary schools and families nationwide are invited to spend the day learning about trees and being outside enjoying their natural environment.  As part of this year’s campaign, over 1,000 Rowan tree saplings will be made available free of charge through the website, www.treeday.ie, for primary schools to help teach children about the importance of planting trees to improve biodiversity on the school grounds.
