A NEW restaurant will create up to 10 full-time and part-time jobs when it opens in town this Friday.
Le Rustique is to serve French cuisine and is located at a premises on Princes Street, where a number of restaurants have operated in the past.
The premises has been vacant for some time after Ristorante Uno moved to their current address on Ivy Terrace. The lease has been taken on by a couple from the French/German border, who have recently moved to Killorglin.

Dagmar and Gunter Schwark are looking forward to the venture where the restaurant which will have an emphasis on French cuisine. Renovations have been taking place there and the business is set to open this coming Friday.
The premises has seen a number of restaurants housed there over the years, including Duffin’s – a favourite with Gay Byrne when he down for the Rose Festival in the 80s – Restaurant Uno and later Ristorante Uno.
It’s not the only restaurant opening in town this month. LANA Asian Street Food is to create up to 20 jobs when it opens on Ashe Street in the coming weeks.
