A LOCAL restaurant received another award to add to their already burgeoning collection of accolades.
The Roast House on Denny Street was named the winner in the ‘Best Casual Dining’ category for Kerry at the ‘Irish Restaurant Awards’ Munster ceremony which was held in The Strand Hotel in Limerick last night.
Ronan Hurley and Linda Carmody from The Roast House said they were delighted with the win and thanked their customers and staff on their Facebook page.

It has been a good few months for the local coffee house and restaurant as they were awarded a 5-star review in the ‘Sunday World’ towards the end of last year.
Other Kerry winners at the awards were The West End in Killarney for Best Restaurant; Allo’s in Listowel for The Best Gastro Pub; The Milesian in Castlegregory for Best Newcomer; Patricia Teahan of Lakeside Restaurant at Carrig Country House won Best Chef; Panorama Restaurant at The Europe Hotel & Resort won Best Hotel Restaurant and Sol y Sombra in Killorglin won Best Wine Experience.
The Irish Restaurant Awards are coveted accolades in the Irish Restaurant Industry. They recognise the achievement and excellence of various restaurants around the country in up to 21 different categories.
