NOW that was a good morning’s work!
The junction at the bottom of Rock Street looks a whole lot brighter thanks to the trainees at Kerry ETB.
The Traditional Stonewall Construction trainees, along with instructor Donal Corcoran, installed a drystone flowerbed structure in front of the Brogue Inn on Saturday morning.
The lads had an early start at 6.30am but by noon, everything was finished and it looks fantastic as you can see from the photos.
This initiative was spearheaded by Gillian Wharton Slattery and Team Bramble in association with Kerry County Kerry and Kerry ETB Training Centre.
Trainees involved in the installation include: Patrick Roche, Balloonagh, Pat O’Sullivan, Kylebeg, Caherbreagh, Cha McMahon, Rock Park Avenue, Paul Murphy, Listowel and John Stenson, Abbeyfeale.
The Traditional Stonewall Construction trainees previously installed the retaining walls for a flowerbed in the Millennium Park at Castlemorris, near LIDL in Tralee.
Great job, better than the Mall
