TOP fashion designers Umit Kutluk and Helen Cody are the special guests at a hotly anticipated fashion event, the New Collections Luncheon & Show in the Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa in Killarney on Sunday, September 29.
They will be joined by both emerging and established Kerry designers and leading boutiques over what promises to be a fashionable and fun-filled afternoon.
Helen Cody specialising in beautifully crafted, hand made, unique, or limited edition pieces, using only the finest Italian, and French silks, organza’s, cashmere and laces.

She has dressed many Irish and international celebrities on the red carpet at the Oscar awards, Cannes film festival, Tony Awards and numerous Irish and international premieres.
Umit Kutluk is especially known for hand-crafted, tailored, beautifully constructed old world class combined with contemporary elegance showcasing diverse and detailed techniques which create a new interpretation of minimal chic.
Among Umit’s most notable clients are the internationally renowned singer Enya, Mrs. Sabina Higgins, wife of the President of Ireland, Dr. Michael D. Higgins, Imelda May, Glenda Gilson, Amanda Byram, Amy Huberman and Kathryn Thomas.
Of course, Kerry has many fashion talents that are now big names on the international fashion scene including Don O’Neill and Colin Horgan.
Joining the ranks is milliner Carol Kennelly who this month has one of her amazing headpieces worn by Hollywood A-Lister Liv Tyler in British Tatler. She will show her new collection at the Aghadoe along with award winning womenswear designer Tina Griffin.

Kindly sponsored by Kelliher’s Toyota Tralee, the event is mc’ed by Elaine Kinsella from Radio Kerry, and will commence with a filmed ‘live from the red carpet’ followed by the drinks reception in the newly opened Terrace Bar at the Aghadoe.
Guests will enjoy a sumptuous 4 course luncheon with fine wines and fashion will be presented between the courses.
Hair and make up is by the multi award winning team at the Sean Taaffe Group. The Best Dressed Lady will receive a €500 voucher from Adams Jewellers Killarney and Tralee. The show is produced by Orla Diffily with models from Upfront Model Management.
