TO take part in the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle, you need a good pair of wheels, so Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre for Older Persons and Top Part Tralee have teamed up to give someone a chance to get their hands on a fantastic bike for as little as €5!
Top Part Tralee have generously donated a bike valued at €600 to Baile Mhuire and over the coming weeks it will be offered as a fantastic raffle prize to one lucky person.
Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre for Older Persons in Tralee was recently chosen as one of the main beneficiary charities for the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle 2018 (ROKCC).

The Development Officer at Baile Mhuire, Aidan Kelly, said: “We wish to thank the Dillane Family for their fantastic support to Baile Mhuire and their generous donation of a magnificent bicycle. We are inviting members of the public to ‘buy a line’ for only €5 and all the proceeds will go towards our fundraising efforts for the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle which will take place on July 7th. Cards are available at Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre for Older Persons, Caherslee, Tralee.”
Anyone interested in registering to take part in the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle is encouraged to choose Baile Mhuire as their nominated charity with a view to helping the effort to develop a new multipurpose unit at the centre.
This unit, along with the committed staff and volunteers, will provide the care and support genuinely needed for Stroke Survivors, Multiple Sclerosis and Early Dementia sufferers to continue safely living in their home, staying connected to their family, their neighbours and their community.
Cyclists who may wish to enter the draw for the bicycle or fundraise for Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre for Older Persons in Tralee should to contact Amanda Whelan on 085 2440400 or email rokccbailemhuire@gmail.com.
