THERE were five new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the Tralee Electoral Area in the 14 days up to Monday, June 28, according to data available on the Government’s COVID-19 data hub.
This is a rate of 15.1 cases per 100,000 people. There were less than five cases in the Corca Dhuibne and Castleisland Electoral Areas.
There were nine cases in the Listowel Electoral Area (a rate of 31.4 per 100,000); 13 in the Kenmare Electoral Area (a rate of 51.9 per 100,000) and 20 in the Killarney Electoral Area (a rate of 67.6 per 100,000).
Meanwhile 512 additional cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed this evening. 216 cases are in Dublin, 63 in Donegal, 26 in Meath, 21 in Kildare and 20 in Limerick. There was no figure given for Kerry.
