TRALEE Rugby Club will remember its former club president this month as they launch their Movember campaign in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation.

The Tralee J1s senior team want to recognise the fantastic care staff at the Palliative Care Unit gave  Seán Kelly before he passed away and great work that is done all year around by the centre.

The team also want to raise awareness about the health issues men face every day of their lives. The rugby club has been an outlet for men, young and old, for over 138 years.

All proceeds raised will be shared between the Kerry Hospice Foundation and supporting the Tralee J1 team into the future.

The current J1 team, along with some past players, will be aiming to grow their best moustaches over the month while also participating in physical ‘virtual’ challenges throughout the month.

At the start of December, the players will then take part in the mandatory Shave/Wax off event.

A gofund me page has been setup for the team which can be accessed by clicking here. Alternatively, contact the Tralee RFC secretary Shane O’Sullivan at shaneosullivan07@gmail.com/087-9410359 or any of the players participating to arrange a donation.

You can follow the player’s progress and get involved in the challenges by following Tralee RFC on Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.
