THERE was incredible excitement at Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn on Thursday morning when two past pupils paid a visit to the school.
The two in question were Kerry minors Andrew Barry and Jack Morgan who were there to draw the winners in the school’s fundraising draw for All-Ireland tickets.
The pupils wore the Kerry colours for the occasion and chanted and sang their way through the lads’ time there and it was clear that they are held in high esteem as Principal Cáit Uí Chonchúir confirmed.

“We’re so proud of the two boys. To think they started here as young pupils and now they’re Kerry minors. They regularly come to visit for various presentations during the year. We wish them the very best for Sunday,” she said.
“There’s fantastic excitement in the school for both the minors and the seniors, but the involvement of the two lads brings another level to the occasion,” said the Principal.

The draw itself was made with Donal O’Connor and a teacher at the school Eibhlín Ní Mhainnín winning the much sought after tickets while Carol Leahy won a signed Kerry jersey.
The lads got a great send-off from the pupils who will be behind them all the way on Sunday.
