A TRALEE man has been compensated for cutting short his holiday with friends in Turkey to attend ‘Winning Streak’, by winning a €3,000 trip to Croatia, as well as €18,000 in cash.
Marian Park native, Vincent Lynch, heard he was going to appear on the show while on holiday in Kusadasi, Turkey and came home to appear on TV.
Vincent, the youngest of seven children, was supported on the show by his son, two god-nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters and others.

He is a full-time carer for his mother, Cecelia Lynch, whom he said hello to on the night. Vincent wasn’t the only Kerry person to come away from the show with a cash windfall.
George Drummond from Sneem also struck it lucky on the show and came away with €18,000.
George was meant to be at a wedding at the Parknasilla Hotel on the night but ‘Winning Streak’ got in the way.
He was there with wife Noreen and children Elma, Therese, Aidan, twins Mark and David and extended family, including grandchildren holding up banners cheering him on.
Not a bad weekend for two men from the Kingdom!
