THIS is not a drill people!
Met Eireann has made some howlers in the past, but we’re going to trust them for once on this one. That big yellow thing in the sky that you’ve woken up to, will be visible all day today and temperatures are set to be a skin-worrying 22 degrees.
Form an orderly queue for the barbecues, shlap on the suntan lotion and get some cool ones in.
Tomorrow is going to be another bright, sunshiny day, but (here it comes!) towards the evening there is a slight possibility of a heavy shower in the south-west. Shure they’re only saying that to cover themselves and anyway, won’t it only to cool us down? (we’re clearly staying with the ‘glass half-full’ attitude this weekend).
Sunday will be slightly cooler but there will still be some pleasant sunshine hitting with temperatures around 19 or 20 degrees and it will stay dry. Today is the best day though so get out there and enjoy it!
