A WOMAN had made contact with gardaí in relation to a hit and run incident in Tralee earlier this month, in which a teenage girl was injured.
Gardaí had appealed to the driver of a car involved in the incident to contact them at Tralee Garda Station.
On Thursday, June 8, between 3.15pm and 3.45pm, there were two young girls crossing at the pedestrian crossing at Clash going towards the Horan Centre.

A dark grey Hyundai jeep with a 141-C registration, pulled up to the crossing and was letting them across, but Gardaí believe the driver could have been distracted and then collided with a 13 year old girl, who suffered a broken arm in the incident.
A file has now been prepared for the Superintendent for summary disposal of the case. Gardai are still appealing for witnesses to the incident.
