Workmates Wish Becky Well On Her Middle East Odyssey

THE staff of Foley’s Spar on the Castlemaine Road gathered in Benner’s Hotel on Saturday night for a farewell party.

Becky Casey from Ballyheigue is off to Oman in the Middle East to teach and is excited about what lies ahead.

“I’m going teaching in a kindergarten. They want western teachers over there so I’ll be staying there for a year at least. I’ll miss the lads here though,” said the 25 year old.

Her work colleague, Therese O’Brien, said Becky would be missed by everyone at Foley’s Spar and they all wished her well on her journey.
