Celebrating Killarney’s distinguished racing history ahead of the August Festival Race Meeting at Killarney Race Course.The first racing in the town was recorded in 1822, while the present, most scenic race course in Ireland, set against the backdrop of Killarney National Park was opened in 1936. The August Festival Race Meeting gets under way from Tuesday 22nd to Saturday 25th, the final day with the much anticipated Ladies Day.
