SIAMSA Tíre was packed out for the past two nights as the Churchill Drama Players theatre group performed their ‘Springtime Variety Show’.
Featuring a cast of 100 from the Churchill and Spa areas, the variety show featured a host of different styles of entertainment, including ‘Songs of the Sea’ to recognise the close links to the maritime tradition in the area and a special finale to mark the events of the 1916 Rising.
Directed by Oliver Hurley, it was again a massive success, with the community coming out in force on Sunday and Monday to support the Churchill Drama Players who have been performing now for 26 years.
