Burglaries In Tralee And Camp At The Weekend

GARDAI in Tralee are investigating two burglaries over the weekend in Tralee and Camp.

Between 8pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday, a burglary took place at O’Dwyer’s MACE at Camp.  During the course of the incident a vehicle, a black Peugeot Partner registration number 11-D-39843, was taken.

It has luminous yellow and orange chevrons on the back of the vehicle and white LED beacon on the rear of the roof of the van.

Gardaí are asking people to contact Tralee Garda Station if they see the van or noticed any suspicious activity in the Camp area on the night in question.

Meanwhile at Shanahan’s Honda Centre on the Killeen Road on Sunday, February 18, a break-in occurred at 4.40am and there were nine red Honda generators were stolen in the burglary. Also an orange Hitachi Leafblower was taken.

If someone offers a generator of leaf blower for sale, or if you saw anything suspicious at the Honda centre in the early hours of Sunday morning, please contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
