U14 Ladies:
We played Corcha Dhuibnhe in the County League on Sunday last at home in Ballyseedy. Despite missing a few regular players the young guard did their best leading at half time. The strong second half wind made playing difficult and were eventually down by 5 points.
Well done girls on a great performance. Unfortunately an injury to a Corcha Dhuibne player right at the end was very unlucky and we wish Aoife well and a speedy recovery. Special thank you to referee Mike Hennessy who immediately took action and supervised matters. Also to James, Edward and Dan a thank you for help and to the wonderful Ambulance personnel who looked afer her. To Kathleen Jordan and all the Corcha Dhuibne team well done.
Training next Thursday at 6.30pm.
