The St. Brendans Board u-16 had a great win over Mid Kerry in the semi-final of the Kerry County Champinship played in Mitchels on Monday night on a score line of 2-11 to 0-15.

The Churchill players who played were Sean Mortimer,Sean Donnellan and sub Thomas Lenihan who had an excellent game when he came on. Kenneth Lenihan was our selector.

They now go on to meet the much fancied East Kerry in the final.Again this highlights how important the Board is to the clubs in the area as it showcases our players to the county selectors. So we would like everybody in the clubs to come out and support the boys in the green and white.

Sympathy

We would like to send sympathy to the O’Donoghue family and the St. Pats Club Blennerville on the death of great clubman Tony O’Donoghue.

All-Ireland Tickets

As the demand for All-Ireland Final tickets is likely to exceed supply, a draw amongst members of the club will be held to allocate tickets. Only those that have already paid membership of the Senior club for 2014 will be included in the draw. If you would like to be included in a draw for tickets, please give your name to Club Secretary, Tracy O’Sullivan, 087-6323206.

County League

Churchill play Ballylongford next Sunday @ 2pm in Ballylongford in a back game in the County League. Please come along and lend your support to the team. If Churchill win all their 3 remaining games in the League, they will be promoted to Division 3, so it is vital that we have as much support as possible.

We are also selling tickets for the FAI club draw. This draw has amazing prizes to be won and tickets are on sale from Fenit Samphire personnel at a price of 10 euro.

All monies raised will go straight to our club and this is a valuable fund raiser for us so all support would be much appreciated.
