GARDAI have arrested and charged a woman in her late teens and a man his 20s in relation to a theft incident that took place on a bus in Listowel yesterday.
At approximately 5:30pm, Gardaí received a report from a man who had his mobile phone stolen whilst on a bus in Listowel.
A short time later, Gardaí on patrol in Listowel arrested two suspects who were found in possession of the phone.
They were brought to Listowel Garda Station and detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984. The have since been charged in relation to the incident and are due to appear before Listowel District Court at a later date.
