THERE were huge crowds at the Brandon Hotel yesterday for the Kingdom Comic Fest.
Some people really made the effort by dressing up as their favourite characters at an event which was a must for anyone with an interest in so-called ‘geek culture’.
There were vendors selling all kinds of merchanise, artists, writers, small press, cosplayers, panels, gaming and so much more.
There’s obviously a massive appetite for these events judging by the amount of people attending yesterday and it looked like everyone was having a great time.
The event also benefited ‘Leons Lifeline’, a charity to raise money for a 22 year old animator from Limerick who took a bad turn with his fight with MS and has to go to Russia for an operation to improve his quality of life. Scroll down for photos…
