THE KDYS was packed with hampers, vouchers and great prizes on Friday night, as the doors opened for this year’s St John’s Parish Bazaar.
It’s been part of the pre-Christmas schedule for years now and for the 68th year there’s the usual array of hampers, vouchers, art work, crafts and loads more amazing prizes to be won and auctioned off during the weekend, which raises tens of thousands of euro for the parish.

The door prize on Saturday night is two nights B&B in The Gleneagle Killarney and Sunday’s door prize is a 32″ smart TV.
The proceeds will go towards the annual upkeep of three churches within St John’s Parish (Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rathass, St Brendan’s, Curraheen and St John’s Church in Castle Street).
Well done to all the businesses who donated prizes and to the public who helped fill those hampers. You can head down tonight at 7pm and Sunday at 2.30pm and all are welcome. Scroll down for photos…
