ST. John’s Church in Castle Street has re-opened for silent prayer from 10am (12 noon Sunday) to 6pm each day and is attracting a steady stream of worshippers.

Measures to combat COVID-19 have been introduced, with a one-way route in operation through the church and hand sanitiser provided on entry and leaving.

Seating, with the appropriate social distancing measures, has been provided at the top of the church.

A team of volunteer cleaners is on hand to clean and disinfect the seating, kneelers and shrines on a regular basis.

The church remains closed to the public for Mass, but services are broadcast live on the internet each  morning at 8.30 am, Saturday Evening (Vigil) Mass at 6.10pm and Sunday at 10.30am.  http://stjohns.ie/index.php/webcam/835-webcam
