The CBS The Green Open Night will take place this Thursday from 6pm-8pm. We look forward to meeting you all and welcoming you as part of our ‘Green Family’ school community.

CBS The Green is an all-boys post-primary school catering for 750 students, situated in the heart of Tralee town.

The school is proud of its record in the provision of quality education to families in Tralee and the surrounding area.

It is a record that our school community intends to maintain. Our primary aim is to encourage each student of CBS The Green, to be a self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive young man, a well-rounded character with an independent mind, an individual who respects the difference of others.

By the time he leaves our school, we want each boy to have that true sense of self-worth which will enable him to stand for himself and for a purpose greater than himself and, in doing so be of value to society.

The school has highly qualified and committed specialist teachers. The relationships that exist between teachers and students create a holistic, positive atmosphere where students can learn, develop and grow as they are much more than just a number – they are nurtured and cared for as members of our Green Family School Community.

We have excellent facilities and have a new extension underway with a completion date of 2025.

We currently have a large variety of specialist rooms available for students such as Technology Suites, Art room, Wood Technology & DCG rooms and Gym which you can experience and see first-hand on the night.

Our wonderful Gym facilities.

We promote the highest academic standards in The Green with a high percentage of students going to Universities and third level institutions in Ireland and abroad.

At the heart of the school is its distinctive Catholic Ethos, which is shown through the excellent relationships which exist between staff and students.

A welcomed visit from Bishop Ray Browne to our school for our 1st Year Mass.

A shared vision for the school is held by staff, students and parents, which has created a very strong caring and cohesive community based on Christian values of love, respect and compassion for others.

We can’t wait to welcome you all to our Open Night this Thursday from 6-8pm – It is an event not to be missed!
