AFTER recently being called the ‘jewel in the Irish accent crown’ (click here), we’ve come across another accent-related story.
In his quest to study the different accents and regional dialects of those in our fair country, one Raymond Hickey travelled around to all 32 counties and recorded people from both an urban and rural setting saying a variety of different sentences.
It was all part of a study to compare dialects.
