IT’S Pancake Tuesday and all over town people are tucking into the sweet and savoury treats before the onset of Lent.
To celebrate the day, the Shanakill Women’s Group came together in the Shanakill Family Resource Centre and held a pancake flipping competition.
On Mondays the Shanakill Women’s Group regularly come together and take part in a host of activities. It’s ideal way for women in the area to meet up, chat and spread a bit of positivity.
Just for a bit of fun the group decided to flip some pancakes on Tuesday morning.
All told it was an afternoon that couldn’t be battered, um, sorry bettered!
