KERRY Rose hopefuls gathered at The Rose Hotel on Sunday for an information evening hosted by the Kerry Rose Centre.
This was the Roses’ first meeting together to find out what’s in store for them over the next couple of weeks, ahead of the Kerry Rose Selection which takes place on May 20th at Ballyroe Heights Hotel.
2016 has seen fantastic interest in the Kerry Rose Selection. According to Honor Hurley coordinator of the Kerry Rose Centre; “We have 32 entrants taking part in our selection this year – we have even a waiting list of girls who want to participate but we simply cannot accommodate everyone as it is just a one night event but we look forward to having them participate next year”.

Friday May 13th is action packed with a reception at Kerry County Buildings, a visit to Pieta House & the annual night out at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium for the Kerry Rose entrants.
The Kerry Rose centre team have also organised a surprise Kerry Rose tour for Saturday evening May 14th for the Rose entrants and judges.
The Kerry Rose Centre thanked all those businesses and organisations that sponsored an entrant for the Kerry Rose Selection. In addition, the Kerry Rose Centre is delighted to be associated with Pieta House as their Charity partner for the 2016 Kerry Rose Selection.
