THE school year is coming to a close and awards and graduations are taking place in schools all over Tralee.
On Thursday night, it was the lovely setting of Ballygarry House Hotel for 40 Leaving Certs from Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí who joined other award winning students form other years in the school and their families for the annual awards.

The school presented Elma with €720 for the Livelife Donal Walsh Foundation. Also, past pupil Alannah Ní Dhuigín (who featured on RTE 2’s ‘Connected’ reality show), spoke of her own personal struggles in life and told the students not to worry too much about exams, try to be happy and to aspire to follow their dreams.
