GAELSCOIL Mhic Easmainn 4th, 5th and 6th class pupils gave the musical performance for a TG4 camera crew on Wednesday.
TV show ‘Cleas Act’ visited the school to film the kids performing with the band Seo Linn and it doesn’t end there.
Singers from Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn will travel to RTE studios in Dublin at the end of November to perform a song that was taught to them by Seo Linn.

Seo Linn, are an Irish traditional group that has been going from strength to strength. Along with playing in Croke Park, the band which comprises members for Kilkenny and Roscommon were chosen to write and perform the Ireland’s official song for Euro 2016.
The popular Irish song as gaeilge composed in the collaboration is a secret, so you will have to tune in to find out when the show airs in the new year.

“The kids absolutely loved it, they seem to be in a really musical school,” said producer of ‘Cleas Act’ Rebecca Kearney. “They were really talented, they were great with harmonies and picked it up very quickly,” she said.
At the end of the of day, Seo Linn, treated the entire school to a performance that raised the roof at Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn.
