‘FULL Stop’ opened its doors today for the official launch of the bookshop and coffee dock, above the 321 Down Syndrome Charity Shop on High Street.
It’s part of the expansion of Down Syndrome Kerry’s services and there’s a team of about 18 volunteers who are excited about the opening and very proud of the new space.
The purpose of the shop is to make a profit to help provide better services and facilities for its members.
They currently have five adults with Down Syndrome and a number of adults with additional needs working in the shop, to gain training and valuable work experience.
Free Refreshments, such as cookies, scones, tea and coffee, were offered to anyone who decided to pop in from 10am to 12pm. Please scroll down for photos…
