GARDAI made an arrest yesterday afternoon following an incident where a car crashed into a wall in Killerisk/Manor area, near the Applegreen Service Station.
According to the Garda Síochána – Cork, Kerry & Limerick – Southern Region Facebook page, the driver of the car left the scene on foot but was observed and followed by some civic-minded locals.

Tralee Gardaí were contacted and arrived within minutes. The driver was intercepted and subsequently arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
The driver is now charged and facing a court appearance. The gardaí thanked the members of the public who assisted them.
