KERRY County Council are to look into installing an adult exercise facility in Tralee Town Park.

The provision of the equipment will be contingent on finding the location and a funding source. Cllr Foley said it was important to pursue this project as it has huge potential and would be very positive for Tralee.
Cllr Toireasa Ferris agreed and said facilities like this can be seen all over the world and it can only be a positive thing for people to be more active.
I think this would a huge addition to the town. It is something I proposed as a councillor years ago. It would be great to see it introduced in these health awareness times.
Great idea.
Wouldn’t the Council’s time and effort be better served in making the Town Park safer for people walking through it with the habitual daytime drinking sessions that are going on there especially in and around the Garden of the Senses.
