Coiste na nÓg Trá Lí has nominated Na Gaeil CLG as Juvenile Club of the year 2017. Colm Ó’Suilleabháin, Tim Lynch and John Keating were presented with the trophy by the Coiste chairperson, Tom Keane at their AGM in the Rose Hotel recently.
Tom congratulated Na Gaeil and complimented all involved on their commitment and hard work. He wished the club well for the future and hoped that all Juvenile competitions in the county will be as competitive and entertaining next year as they were this year.
Colm Ó’Suilleabháin thanked Tom and the committee for his complimentary remarks and emphasised the fact that it was a total club effort involving sport, culture and social activities.
The trophy was first won by Laune Rangers in 1975 and has been presented every year since then.
“This award is testament to the great coaching structure at under age level in Na Gaeil Club and is just reward for all for all the hard work carried out by Coiste na nÓg club officials, players, coaches, mentors and parents in the club,” said a spokesperson for Na Gaeil GAA.
