A TRALEE man completed the arduous challenge of swimming the English Channel last night.
Kristian O’Donovan, swam the channel in a more than respectable time of 13 hours and 48 minutes.
The employee of Pitman Training, received fantastic support along the way through the world’s busiest shipping lane, finishing around 11.30pm last night.
“That’s my All-Ireland medal anyway!” read a post on his Facebook page last night as he received loads of messages of congratulations.
We’ll add to them: Well done Kristian!
