THREE iPads were presented to the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry by representatives of AIB in Kerry.

Declan Furlong, Sean Healy, Declan Crowe and Stephen Stack of AIB took part in the Movember challenge, growing moustaches and beards some months back and staff in AIB branches supported them by making a donation.

When deciding on how best to utilise the funds raised, Joe Hennebery of the Kerry Hospice Foundation mentioned to AIB Tralee Branch Manager, Stephen Stack, that they needed iPads for speech and language therapy at the unit.

Stephen Stack said AIB were delighted to help out the Unit which provides such an invaluable care facility for cancer patients and their families.
