IF you can’t make it to the momentous football and hurling double bill in Tralee on Sunday, TG4 has got you covered.

For what is a unique occasion, both Kerry senior men’s GAA teams will feature live on TV on the same day.

Getting the ball rolling are the hurlers when they throw in at 12:30pm against Wexford in Division 1B of the Allianz National Hurling League.

Ciaran Carey’s men are followed by the footballers at 2.30pm who face Donegal in Division 1 of the Allianz National Football League.

Coverage begins on TG4 at 12pm. After both games the Kerry GAA feast won’t stop there.

Sunday also marks the reopening of Austin Stack Park, which has undergone renovation work including a a new pitch and terrace at the old John Mitchels end. Both teams have only recorded one win as yet in their respective campaigns, though Eamonn Fitzmaurice’s charges have played one game more.
