Senior Town League: The first round of the Town League takes place on Sunday, 11th February. The Senior Team V Ballymacelligott in Connolly Pk at 12 pm.
Children’s Officer: In an ongoing commitment to creating and maintaining the safest possible environment for all children who wish to take part in GAA games and activities, the club will host two training sessions for mentors and coaches as follows:
1. Anti-bullying Workshop (2hrs) – Tuesday 27th Feb. 2024. Time to be confirmed.
2. Safeguarding 1 Workshop ( 3hrs) – Tuesday 12th March 2024 from 7 – 10pm. This workshop is mandatory for all coaches/mentors involved with U18 players and as such will be relevant to new coaches/mentors and those whose Safeguarding Certificates expired recently.
Both workshops will be held in Connolly Park and will be facilitated by Colette Murphy, GAA Safeguarding Tutor.
LGFA Clothes Recycling Drive: We’re just a few weeks out from our Annual Club Clothing Recycling Fundraiser (Sat Feb 17th) – please note we receive payment per Kilo for all Mens, Womens’ and Children’s clothing/shoes/bags suitable for re-sale, so even if you’ve only a few items to donate please do bring them along on Sat 17th Feb 12pm-3pm as Every Little Will Help!(homewares/duffets/pillows not accepted)
Juvenile Academy: Our Juvenile Academy is on this Sunday, 11th February, U7 Boys(those born in 2017, 2018 & 2019) training in Mounthawk School Hall at 10 am. All new members welcome.
U9 Boys(born in 2015 & 2016) at 11am in Mounthawk School Hall. All new members welcome.
U11 Boys(born 2013 & 2014) in CBS The Green Astro Pitch @ 11 am. All new members welcome.
