U12: There were excellent performances from all in this group in recent days with away matches to Laune Rangers (Div 1 and 1B) and Tousist (Div 9) and home to Legion , also in Division 9.

Beautiful weather and conditions were the order of the day when we travelled to Killorglin to play our old friends. Top class team play and skill saw the Black and Amber boys victorious in the Division 1A match on a score line of 5-17 to 2-8. A very tight match in the 1B encounter saw our hosts edging ahead at the final whistle 5-12 to 5-8.

A couple of days later , our Division 9 squad produced a magnificent display of heart and commitment, coming out on top again the Legion 2-14 to 2-2.

The same group then headed to Tuosist last Sunday evening for a great game against the  most accommodating and hospitable locals.

Finding Lauragh certainly proved a problem too far for Batty Bastable’s Sat Nav   (we hope he made it back to Tralee by the time of publication !) and we will put this down as the primary factor behind our reversal  – 4-14 to 5-7.

This weekend say the Division 1A and B squads in Connolly Park as we host Ballymac , with the well -thumbed passports of our Division 9 warriors ready for another stamping as we head for Dingle.
