Ballymac Vintage Club Raises Over €5,000 For Recovery Haven

Members of Ballymac Vintage Club with representatives from Recovery Haven at the presentation of a cheque, the proceeds of an event held in August.

BALLYMAC Vintage Club held another very successful annual car an Honda 50 run back on August 6 which has raised thousands for a local charity.

This was the 13th year of this run which has proven popular in recent years and the morning began with a  cars and coffee style meet at O’Riadas Bar and Restaurant Ballymacelligott.

Proceeds on the day were in aid of Recovery Haven Cancer Support House, which is based in Tralee, providing free cancer support services to the people of Kerry.

A grand total of €5,820 was raised across the weekend , which also included a bucket collection in Castleisland on the day prior to the run.

The club thanked all who attended and supported the event on the day. Their next event will be a Tractor Run on Sunday October 1st with cars and motorbikes welcome on the day also.
