THE Irish Blood Transfusion Service needs your help, and today, Thursday, January 28, will be your last chance to donate blood at the mobile clinic, which has been at the Brandon Hotel all week.
The service is urging members of the public to donate blood due to a shortage in recent years.
Back in November, there was an emergency appeal launched for more to come forward and donate blood when an increase of 15% was needed.
The Tralee branch of the donor clinic is being held at the Brandon Hotel from 3-5pm and again at the 7-9pm.
If you are donating blood, it is recommended that you have eaten something and have had plenty of cold drinks. The process of donating will take up to an hour to an hour and half to complete.
