An Bord Pleanala Uphold Decision To Refuse Planning For New Estate

AN Bord Pleanala have upheld a decision by Kerry County Council to turn down an application to build 98 houses at Caherweesheen.

O’Flynn Construction applied to build 98 houses with a crèche at Caherweesheen and Skahanagh.

The development was refused planning permission by Kerry County Council, as it found the site was prone to flooding.

The developer appealed Kerry County Council’s decision to An Bord Pleanala but the state body upheld Kerry County Council’s decision.
