REGISTRATION is still open for a big fundraiser in aid of Recovery Haven Kerry later this month.

People are invited to join Munster and Ireland rugby legend, Ciara Griffin, and many more recruits, at Thomond Park for an abseiling event on Saturday, August 26.

Registration is open for the novel fundraiser, which offers participants a chance to abseil down the rugby fortress that is Limerick’s Thomond Park – while raising funds for the charity at the same time.

The abseil itself takes about 10 -15 minutes, with participants getting a fantastic panoramic view of the iconic stadium before their 125ft descent from the West Stand media box.

Spaces are limited – with options for morning or afternoon slots available – so registration is hugely important.

Anyone interested in signing up for the abseil can do so by logging onto the www.recoveryhavenkerry.com and clicking the event section, where all registration information will be displayed. You can also register directly via the following link: https://recoveryhavenkerry.com/…/funraiser-abseil-in…/

A €50 deposit is required at registration, after which participants are asked to raise an additional €200 (minimum) for the charity.

This can be paid in full at registration, or if you prefer, can be fundraised in the weeks leading up to the event by setting up a fundraising page or through sponsorship cards available from Recovery Haven. The event is limited to Over 18s only.
