There’s free parking from 1pm from this Saturday to January 5 in council car parks around town.
IN case you hadn’t noticed, there is good news for shoppers this weekend as free Christmas parking will get underway in town and will continue up until the early days of January.
There will be free parking on-street and in Kerry County Council Car-parks from 1pm daily, from December 5 to January 5.

The initiative is just one part of ‘2015 Christmas Spraoí Tralee’ which will include a host of different events.
On the way this month is the Christmas Food and Craft Market, family-friendly activities, office chair racing, fireworks, daily prizes, panto, theatre, carol singing, loads of shopping and of course Santa and his helpers are on the list of things to see and do in the county capital.
