CANCER support charity, Recovery Haven Kerry, is extending a warm, festive welcome to the people of Kerry to celebrate their official tree-lighting and carol-singing ceremony on this Thursday, December 8.
Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Mikey Sheehy, will officiate at Recovery Haven’s Tralee centre at 5 Haig’s Terrace at 4.30pm, joined by a number of the charity’s young clients who avail of its children’s support services.
The evening will also feature a special performance by Tralee singer Aoife O’Donoghue, who will perform some favourite Christmas carols throughout the event.

And as a special treat to shoppers in Tralee that evening, Aoife and her pupils will continue their festive carol singing at Manor West Shopping Centre from 5.30 -6.30pm, with donations being accepted for the charity.
Recovery Haven manager, Gemma Fort, is extending an open invitation to anyone interested in popping along on Thursday evening to officially get the Christmas celebrations underway – complete with mince pies and hot chocolates.
