THE people over at Churchill GAA are lacing up their running shoes and getting into serious training as the club prepares to host a 10k run which will form part of their centenary celebrations this year.

The run is all set to take place on Sunday October 18 at 10am from the clubhouse, with all proceeds from the event going toward the development of the dressing rooms at their new pitch,  located at the top of Churchill, opposite the local church.

The scenic route will take in all of the beauty that Churchill has to offer with the looped route set to pass both the new grounds and the old grounds.

Registration for the run is set at €20 with a finishers medal on offer for all participants. If you’re feeling  brave and up for it, then you’re encouraged to head on over to the Run The Kingdom site HERE and sign up.
