A BANNA lady was in the final five of the the Most Stylish Lady at the 150th Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh on Saturday.
Claire Murphy was in with a shout of winning the €20,000 first prize which eventually went to Limerick lady, Lorraine O’Sullivan.
Claire Murphy wore a multi-coloured dress by local Kerry designer Tina Griffin, this was paired with a cream Carol Kennelly hat and vintage gloves and handbag both in a lavender shade. She also wore gold shoes belonging to her mother.
Claire and the other runners up received luxury goodie bags from The Marker Hotel.
The overall winner was Lorraine O’Sullivan who was chosen by a judging panel led by TV Presenter Amanda Byram, Breeda McLoughlin representing Dubai Duty Free, Jody Wainwright representing Boodles, IMAGE Magazine Editor In Chief Melanie Morris and Fashion Editor, Irish Independent, Bairbre Power.
She walked away with a coveted prize worth almost €20,000. She will enjoy a holiday of a lifetime to Dubai, courtesy of Dubai Duty Free and spend five glorious night at the retail operator’s 5 Star Hotel, The Jumeirah Creekside as well as €1,000 to spend and return flights.
Also included in the prize was an elegant Boodles 18 carat white goldand diamond pendant valued at €5,000 plus an overnight stay at the luxurious Marker Hotel in Dublin.
