LOVE him or hate him, he’s hard to ignore.

Conor McGregor is unavoidable this weekend as he prepares for what could be the biggest money-spinning fight ever.

A Tralee-based musician wrote and voiced a poetic tribute to UFC star Conor McGregor two years ago and he has revamped it this month ahead of the Dublin fighter’s battle with Floyd Mayweather Jnr in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning Irish time.

Noel McAuliffe, from Knocknagoshel, but living here in town, is a massive fan of the Dublin-born fighter and describes the qualities and fear that McGregor brings to the sport.

It was originally uploaded to social media two years ago, but Noel had an idea torevamp the poem with the help of Matt Dean on whistles and flute, Daragh Hogan on sound recording and John Fitzgerald on video production. The video has already been viewed over 50,000 times. Have a look at it below…
