With the next LEADER Programme beginning later in 2023 and lasting until 2027, the Kerry Local Development Committee is looking for input from the public as to what areas they feel the LEADER Programme should support.

The views of the public will be critical in identifying and targeting the projects and actions thathelp to make Kerry more economically vibrant, more socially inclusive and more environmentally sustainable.

As part of this public consultation strategy, a number of public meetings will be held in strategic locations around the county, starting on Tuesday 27th June. The dates, locations and times of these will be published in local media, the Kerry County Council Website and on the Council’s Social Media pages as well.

Additionally, an online consultation facility is being launched on Friday, 23rd June, allowing the public to have their say online.

The link will be available on the Kerry County Council website: www.kerrycoco.ie from Friday morning.

Come along and have your say on where you think the LEADER funding should be allocated, or contact the Community Department on 066 7183680 or email community@kerrycoco.ie
