IN fairness, Darran O’Sullivan is up against it.
The Kerry forward scored a cracking goal and was in fine form again for Kerry on Sunday, bagging 1-2 from play in Kerry’s 2-16 to 0-10 victory over Clare in Sunday’s All-Ireland SFC Quarter-Final.
His performance has earned him a nomination for a GAA.ie Player of the Week award but he faces some stiff opposition.
Paddy McBrearty had a stunning performance for Donegal in Saturday’s All-Ireland Qualifier victory over Cork, scoring 11 points, seven of them from play.
The other nomination is Peter Acheson of Tipperary who, like the rest of his teammates, had a great game in the All-Ireland Quarter-Final win over Galway on Sunday.
