DATA from the Environmental Protection Agency from last weekend has shown high air pollution levels in Tralee.
The county capital was among a number of locations in the country with high pollution levels, including Dublin where some areas saw the highest levels in 30 years.
Other towns and cities which saw breaches of EU and WHO guidelines were Ennis, Cork city, Macroom and Enniscorthy. The EPA says this type of pollution is associated with the burning of solid fuels.
