FAIR City actor Ryan Andrews, better known as Sean Cassidy, the barman and shop assistant from Carrisgtown, officially opened Byrnes SPAR and TOP service station in Caherslee on Thursday.

There was a charity auction in aid of Kerry Hospice also held where members of the public bid on household goods, electrical items and other spot prizes kindly donated by Byrnes SPAR and their local suppliers. All funds raised went to Kerry Hospice.

In addition to supporting this worthy local cause, Ryan announced details of a 12 week draw where all customers of Byrnes SPAR stores in Tralee can get an opportunity to win a brand new Hyundai i10 car.

The “Win a Car with Byrnes Spar” draw will see a €50 fuel voucher winner announced every week on Radio Kerry, with one lucky winner driving away in a new car at the end of the 12 weeks.
